Congress says U.S. flags should be flown upside-down only as a distress signal. Dale Decker says the country is certainly in distress, with the tough housing market and a collapsing economy. He says he wanted to make a statement. Korean War veteran Al Karl says that statement insults soldiers like those at Iwo Jima. Police contacted Decker, saying they didn’t want to infringe on any rights but they’re obligated to investigate complaints. Decker says he’ll take the flag down - but only because his apartment complex ordered him to.
