Hi Theresa j.,
When I first introduced legislation with Russ Feingold to set a deadline to
end the open-ended policy of massive military presence in Iraq and bring our
heroes home, I knew it would take a lot of work to get us to that point. And,
as I've said to all of you before, we've made tremendous progress. Thanks to
all of your work, we have a Democratic Congress that has passed legislation to
challenge President Bush's failed policy in Iraq and put us on a new course.
But the Republicans are putting up a roadblock to our efforts, succumbing to
White House pressure to back the President on this. And the President vetoed
our efforts.
It's time for that to change. It's time to put the pressure on these
Roadblock Republicans.
The Republicans are already showing signs of cracking. Many are running away
from this President's disastrous policy. But that's not enough; we need to
splinter the GOP on this one. To do that, we need to speak to them in a voice
loud enough that they can't help but hear it, and we need to speak in the
language any politician understands: grassroots pressure.
So we're launching a unique campaign to pressure the critical points in the
GOP caucus. We are targeting a few key Senators for this message: Senate
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Senators Sununu, Collins, and Coleman. The
last three are already top races for 2008, and Senator McConnell is the bulwark
of the GOP leadership on this.
So go here to contribute to a fund run by our friends at ActBlue that will go
to the eventual Democratic nominee in those states and then write an email
message to those Senators explaining why you did this.
This is an extraordinary campaign; to my knowledge, nothing quite like this
has ever been done. But this money can make all the difference in each of these
races, and these Senators will know it. Senator McConnell is secure in his
belief that no one will be able to raise the money to challenge him. We can
show that he's wrong. The other Senators are already top targets in 2008, but
they hope the power of incumbency and fundraising can save them. We can show
them that the power of Washington won't stand against the power of the people.
We can raise the stakes for them and make the pressure they feel from the
people greater than the pressure they feel from the White House. And when that
happens, they just might help tell this President that his policy is a disaster
and we must change course.
Let's clear the way for a new direction in Iraq -- let's insist on a policy
that lives up to the sacrifice of our incredible troops.
  Sincerely,
  John Kerry

[cia-drugs] E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confession about Kennedy Assassination

Son Of JFK Conspirator Drops New Bombshell Revelations

As the explosive revelation of E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confession, in which
the former CIA agent and Watergate conspirator admits that he was part of a CIA
conspiracy to assassinate JFK, continues to rage across the Internet, the
establishment media remains almost mute on what is undoubtedly one of the
biggest stories of the decade.

Saint John Hunt, E. Howard Hunt's oldest son, joined Alex Jones yesterday to
drop new bombshells about his father's story. Click here to listen.
http://prisonplanet.tv/audio/020507hunt.mp3

Hunt was first made aware of what his father knew about the events of November
22nd 1963 when he came into receipt of hand-written memos that outlined the
birth of the plot to kill JFK in Miami where it was discussed that a coup
needed to take place in order to topple Kennedy and save the CIA from being
splintered into a thousand pieces, as JFK had promised.

Saint John then opened his mailbox one January morning in 2004 to discover an
unlabeled cassette tape on which his father details the identity of the
individuals that were involved in the actual assassination of JFK.

E. Howard Hunt names numerous individuals with both direct and indirect CIA
connections as having played a role in the assassination of Kennedy, while
describing himself as a bench warmer in the plot. Saint John Hunt agreed that
the use of this term indicates that Hunt was willing to play a larger role in
the murder conspiracy had he been required, but was primarily used in an
oversight role.

Hunt alleges on the tape that then Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was
involved in the planning of the assassination and in the cover-up, stating that
LBJ, Had an almost maniacal urge to become president, he regarded JFK as an
obstacle to achieving that.

Saint John Hunt. http://www.prisonplanet.com/images/may2007/030507hunt.jpg

In the Alex Jones Show interview, Hunt reveals how Kevin Costner, star of the
JFK movie, had shared a mutual friend with E. Howard Hunt and had subsequently
visited Hunt in Miami in the interests of producing a documentary film based on
Hunt's knowledge of the plot.

Kevin Costner flies down and is introduced to my father by this mutual friend
and Kevin just blurted out, 'so who killed JFK'? My father's jaw dropped and he
turned around and looked at his wife and said, 'what did he say'?

So the whole thing just kind of blew up in its face and that was the end of
that, said Hunt.

Hunt said that Costner had become somewhat of a conspiracy enthusiast after
having made the JFK movie and was very interested in starting a project based
on E. Howard Hunt's revelations.

What my father devised was a code and a key to give Mr. Costner the relevant
information without naming the names, said Hunt, He listed out a chain of
command and a timeline series of events and things that took place along with
the most important players in the plot.

Costner considered the information to be dynamite stuff, but elements of the
Miami mafia derailed the project and the documentary never got off the ground.

Saint John Hunt also revealed for the first time that E. Howard Hunt thought
that the Chicago plane crash that killed his wife in 1972 was not an accident.
Investigators discovered at least $10,000 dollars in Dorothy Hunt's luggage,
money that Saint John Hunt alleges was Nixon campaign funds used to payoff the
families of the Watergate burglars to keep them quiet about the involvement of
the Nixon White House in the Watergate break-in and cover-up.

Later on in his life at one of these bedside confessionstears started
welling up in his eyes and he said, 'you know Saint I was so deeply concerned
that what they did to your mother they could have done to you children' and
that caused the hair on my neck to stand up - that was the first disclosure
from my father that he thought there was something else going on besides sheer
pilot error, said Hunt.

Eyewitnesses reported that the plane exploded above treetop level before it had
even hit the runway.

Hunt said that at least 20-25 FBI members, as well as numerous DIA agents
were at the scene of the crash within minutes before rescue personnel had even
arrived, and that this fact was attested to in a letter sent by the head of the
Chicago FBI to investigator Sherman Skolnick.

Hunt cited numerous coincidences surrounding the aftermath of the crash,
including Nixon's appointment of his henchman, Egil Krough, to the National
Transportation Safety Board which investigates plane crashes, the very day
after the incident.

When asked about the photos of the three tramps that were arrested on the
scene of

Asia Likely to Draw on $2.7 Trillion
in Reserves to Safeguard Currencies

By Shamim Adam
Bloomberg News Service
Thursday, May 3, 2007

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601080sid=aIKwOaFW43dkrefer=a...

KYOTO, Japan -- Asian finance ministers will this week probably agree to pool
part of the region's $2.7 trillion in foreign-exchange holdings to prevent a
repeat of the crisis that depleted reserves ten years ago.

Japan's Koji Omi, China's Jin Renqing, South Korea's Kwon Okyu and Southeast
Asian ministers are meeting at the sidelines of the Asian Development Bank's
annual gathering in Kyoto to discuss a plan to combine some of their reserves
to be tapped by member nations when needed. The current arrangement, called the
Chiang Mai Initiative after the Thai city in which the accord was forged in
2000, allows only for bilateral currency swaps.

Broadening the initiative is more than just a safeguard against turmoil,
analysts say. It's an instrument for the region's governments, stung by
conditions attached to loan packages by the International Monetary Fund during
the 1997-98 financial crisis, to reduce reliance on the agency in the future.

These are attempts to achieve some form of independence, not to subject
themselves again, should there ever be another crisis, to bailout packages and
the rather draconian terms that come with it, said Joseph Tan, a
Singapore-based economist at Standard Chartered Bank Plc.

The IMF arranged over $100 billion of loans to Thailand, Indonesia and South
Korea during the crisis after their currencies collapsed. In return,
governments were forced to cut spending, raise interest rates and sell
state-owned companies.

Critics said the policies deepened the region's recession, as higher borrowing
costs hurt businesses and crimped domestic consumption. The IMF, in a 1999
assessment of its handling of the crisis, said it badly misgauged the
severity of the collapse and acknowledged its fiscal prescriptions for the
three countries were too harsh.

Its debtors couldn't wait to free themselves from the dictates as all three
settled arrears years ahead of schedule. The fund prescribed Thailand the
wrong medicine, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said and asked
citizens to fly the national flag on offices, homes, and factories when it made
the last of its payments in 2003.

After clearing loans from the fund in October, Indonesia's central bank
governor Burhanuddin Abdullah said the country was no longer a sick member of
the IMF. South Korea's last installment payment of $140 million in August 2001
was accompanied by comments from a government spokesman that it had retaken
economic sovereignty and no longer needed prior consultations with the fund.

Finance ministers from China, South Korea, and Japan will gather for a meeting
tomorrow, before getting together with their counterparts from the 10-member
Association of Southeast Asian Nations a day later. Besides reserve pooling,
other issues that may be discussed include the development of the region's bond
markets.

The pool of reserves may ensure central banks have enough to shield their
currencies against any speculative attacks. The unsuccessful defense of their
plunging exchange rates a decade ago depleted the reserves of Indonesia,
Thailand, and South Korea, and prompted them to turn to the IMF to shore up
their finances.

It's a contingency measure for a country running low on reserves to draw from
that pool, said James McCormack, head of Asian sovereign ratings at Fitch
Ratings in Hong Kong. It's a commitment from within Asia in times of crisis.

In the years since the crisis, total Asian reserves have risen from $485
billion in 1997 to $3.37 trillion now. China's foreign-currency holdings grew
by $1 million a minute in the first quarter to $1.2 trillion. South Korea's
reserves are now the world's fifth-largest, burgeoning to $244 billion from $7
billion in November 1997.

The amount of reserves in the pool will be important, even though the
likelihood of another collapse in the region's currencies is remote, analysts
say. The total size of the swap agreements between the 13 countries is about
$75 billion from an initial size of $200 million.

We're not living in 1997 anymore and Asia's financial sector is in
considerably better shape to face headwinds, said Jan Lambregts, head of Asia
research at Rabobank in Hong Kong. But when a crisis strikes, will the extent
to which these arrangements exist weigh up to the market volumes we see? That's
why the size of such a fund is a significant factor.

 Hi Bob,

Sorry, but I believe that the problem goes much deeper than
just disorganization, and that it cannot be solved by organization
alone.

The suppression of overunity Maxwellian systems was
deliberately done by J. P. Morgan, way back in 1892 and 1900, when
Lorentz was impressed to alter the already-severely limited
Maxwellian equations. That suppression has continued to the present
day, and it still continues unabated. Quoting Barrett, one of the
founders of ultrawideband radar:

[T]he A field [for the potentials] was banished from playing
the central role in Maxwell's theory and relegated to being a
mathematical (but not physical) auxiliary. This banishment took
place during the interpretation of Maxwell's theory... by
Heaviside... and Hertz. The 'Maxwell theory' and 'Maxwell's
equations' we know today are really the interpretation of
Heaviside... Heaviside took the 20 equations of Maxwell and reduced
them to the four now known as Maxwell's equations. [Terence W.
Barrett, Electromagnetic Phenomena Not Explained by Maxwell's
Equations, A. Lakhtakia, ed., Essays on the Formal Aspects of
Electromagnetics Theory, World Scientific Publishing, River Edge,
NJ, 1993, p. 11.]

A listing of the blatant falsities known to be in the resulting
electrical engineering taught to all our power engineers in all our
universities, is given in my paper, “Errors and Omissions in the
CEM/EE Model”, E.g., electrical engineers don’t even know what
powers an electrical circuit! It isn’t cranking the shaft of the
generator. For what does generate the energy that roars out of the
generator terminals and through space along the external
conductors, see the figure with that paper that shows how it works
and what cranking the shaft actually does (and why we have to crank
the shaft in the first place). Eminent scientists such as Nobelist
Feynman, the great John Wheeler, Margenau, Bunge and others have
pointed out the falsities, but to no avail. The scientific
community absolutely will not correct this horribly flawed model
and the horribly flawed EE teaching.

I sent a copy of that paper to the National Science Foundation,
where Dr. Bement ordered a formal review of it. It passed the
review; see the NSF letter back to me.

But for action, Dr. Bement had to turn me over to those in
charge of electrical engineering, communications, etc., since I was
speaking of electrical power. Those were very nice people, sincere
– and absolutely with the squarest box imaginable around their
heads. They had and have no intention of changing the sad old
electrical engineering model.

Our universities don’t teach Maxwell’s theory, and never have.
In Maxwell’s theory, there is indeed an active medium, and one can
in fact build what is known as an “asymmetrical” system, and it
will receive and use energy from the seething vacuum (the active
medium).

Tesla knew that the medium was active, and he also had
discovered how to get some energy out of it. He was hell-bent on
giving the world cheap clean electrical energy freely taken from
the vacuum. Quoting Tesla:

“Electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities
and can drive the world's machinery without the need of coal, oil,
gas, or any other of the common fuels. [Nikola Tesla].

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a
power obtainable at any point in the universe. This idea is not
novel... We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who derives
power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of
one of your splendid mathematicians...Throughout space there is
energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static our hopes are
in vain; if kinetic – and this we know it is, for certain – then it
is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their
machinery to the very wheelwork of nature. [Nikola Tesla, in a
speech in New York to the American Institute of Electrical
Engineers, 1891. Quoted from back cover of his biography, Margaret
Cheney, Tesla: Man Out of Time].

“We have to evolve means for obtaining energy from stores which
are forever inexhaustible, to perfect methods which do not imply
consumption and waste of any material whatever. I now feel sure
that the realization of that idea is not far off. ...the
possibilities of the development I refer to, namely, that of the
operation of engines on any point of the earth by the energy of the
medium...” [Nikola Tesla, during an address in 1897 commemorating
his installation of generators at Niagara Falls.].

Whatever our resources of primary energy may be in the
