[cia-drugs] security is keyword to researching CIA Watergate op
"Carl Shoffler, one of the arresting police officers at Watergate, advised the Ervin Committee that in January 1973, a week before the Watergate trial began, Edmund Chung, an acquaintance, approached him about the arrests.Carl Shoffler and Edmund Chung had served together at the U.S. Army Security Agency in Warrenton, Virginia...Carl Shoffler did not have much to say about Watergate and seemed obsessed with the idea that Edmund Chung was a CIA agent. Edmund Chung denied being a CIA employee" There it is again, the word "security" in another Watergate source. Edmund Ching was another CIA "security" minion working in support of Howard Hunt, actual Watergate burglar and CIA "security" contractor, under command and control by high level CIA "security" officials named in well-known Watergate material quoted at our cia-drugs list archive. My father as the supervisor of qualifications analysis at CIA wrote that "security" took possession from him of fifty cartons of CIA Watergate- related personnel files that QAB had culled for the publically documented CIA "security" officials running all the known and unknown CIA "security" employees and contractors down to Hunt and Chung. Watergate was a CIA "security" matter the same as the Frank Olson affair. Nixon and Olson ruffled the chicken feathers of the Phoenix bird, Vietnam's Real Chickens Afraid of Life. Nixon said he wanted to read a newspaper, Helms refused. Nothing actually, but you can't tell that to Vietnam's Real Chickens Afraid of Life, afraid of Nixon reading a newspaper. You and I know everything in that newspaper, but Helms was askeered and freaked out, scared Nixon might succeed where JFK failed in being the first constitutional president in years. Keyword "security" leads you to the official level at CIA in Watergate, crosses over to Frank Olson and JFK assassination and Bay of Pigs because those and anthraxing the Reichstag and 911 and Florida election fraud 2000 and OKCbomb are all operations to secure the presidency. If Helms had just let Nixon read the same newspaper we read every day, but he had to wet his pants and freak out. Mistakes are good for sunshine though. Our newspaper says more because of fear working over the fear freaks and urging them to make mistakes. -Bob Dodds Date: Sat, 11 Jun 2005 14:01:19 -0700 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: After the Coup Richard Helms said that H.R. Haldeman mentioned an "investigation in Mexico." NIXON'S reelection committee laundered campaign contributions through Mexico. Richard Helms said H.R. Haldeman told him the Mexican money laundering operation "ran into" the Bay of Pigs. [Felix Rodriguez, Condor, Bebe Rebozo, Nicaragua] These events had occurred 11 years apart. In May 1979 Richard Helms was questioned about this meeting: Q. All right. Do you recall having a meeting on June 23, 1972, with Mr. Haldeman and Mr. Ehrlichman and Deputy Director Vernon Walters? A. You mean the meeting that came about as a result of the so-called 'smoking pistol?' Q. Something to that effect. A. Most publicized meeting in history. Q. Perhaps. Perhaps. A. Yeah, I do. I do recall that one. Q. Do you recall whether or not the individuals who were representing the White House interests were concerned about the exposure of Mr. HUNT'S involvement with the Bay of Pigs and with the Agency? A. Well, the two White House representatives were Haldeman and Ehrlichman and I don't, I obviously, memory is very fallible, but I don't recall Mrs., Mr. HUNT'S name ever coming up in connection with the meeting...I was not distressed. I was attempting to be emphatic. I did not like Mr. Haldeman attempting to blackmail me by indicating in some fashion or other that by raising the Bay of Pigs __ It was Helms who blackmailed Nixon to prevent Nixon from firing Helms and taking the Bay of Pigs literature to read, no big deal, just a president reading his own newspaper. Helms' blackmail was successful, though. When Nixon tried to play blackmail on the level of that blackmail game, Nixon lost the initiative, he was doomed. He had to put Helms in a safehouse for two weeks to brief his successor after a failed three count, put Helms #2 into retirement after a failed four count, put Helms #2 into retirement after a failed five count, until Nixon got his newspaper to read, end of story, but Nixon descended to the level of blackmail, which sign of weakness could itself be portrayed in a bad light. Bad light was the real problem, bad light made it hard to read a newspaper, so get a different light and never let Helms set foot at Langley after three seconds of his insurrection at the White House. Helms, not Nixon, was the one threatening to drag the oligarchy's modus operandi into the light. Nixon believed it was him, got afraid. Once he believed he was the one off the reservation threatening to expose the means of control, he was just a kid playing on a kid level--blackmail. Two couldn't play. Bad light, different ruleset. Don't
[cia-drugs] Howard Hunt Watergate wife's plane crash
"Watergate double-agent, James McCord, a CIA official in charge of the Agency's physical security" There it is again, that "security" keyword, and yet another CIA "security" operative involved in Watergate. Watergate was a security operation, run by CIA security officials, using security personnel in support of security veterans contracted as burglars. Keep looking for that word "security" to find higher level CIA security officials running McCord and Hunt in a security op to "secure" the presidency...again. Skolnick I know the details Sherman Skolnick gives below about the sabotaged plane of Mrs. E. Horard Hunt are on the mark. I specifically checked the versity of the claims Sherman Skolnick made at the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONCIN that was caught by a hand held tape recorder by another researcher on this assignment for a former chairman of the PIKE COMMITTEE. I checked for example all the claims made below and a great deal more. I could not find one inaccuracy. I remember that all the major media repeated that Mrs. Hunt had $10,000 in cash on her person. Hopsicker sould take note of the $40,000 in cash tracable to Bernard Barker because I believe that money came from Mexico. This and the $2 million in postal money orders was clearly presented in the NTSB report which someone copied and gave to Mr. Skolnick. If this does not demonstrate the willingness of major media to protect political murder I do not know what does. Brian From: "Sherman H. Nixon was re-elected President. One month later, on behalf of the Nixon White House, America's secret political police, the American Gestapo, the FBI, and the American CIA, arranged to sabotage a commercial airplane headed for Chicago. On board were twelve Watergate figures, including Dorothy Hunt, wife of the Watergate burglar, E. Howard Hunt. They had reportedly blackmailed two million dollars out of Nixon threatening, among other things, to publicize documents they had showing Tricky Dick, along with top officials of the FBI and the CIA, had planned and carried out the political assassination of President John F. Kennedy. We received a mysterious phone call. "You should look into the crash near Midway Airport. They murdered Mrs. Hunt and the others." From various circumstances we determined that the call came from an official in Midway Airport Tower, Chicago. We started our own investigation. In 1973, I wrote a book, "The Secret History of Airplane Sabotage". So far as I could find out, there never was an authoritative book on the subject up to that time. And even now, I know of no other such book. A sizeable book publisher undertook to publish my work. The book, however, was stopped in the print cycle and no copies became available. The book was suppressed by the Rockefellers, at the time the major owners of UAL, Inc., the parent firm of United Air Lines, with the United Air Lines crash near Midway Airport being a major section of the book. I am posting starting as Part One excerpts from the book. In some instances, it has been updated and slightly revised to show details uncovered after 1973. THE WATERGATE PLANE CRASH 1. THE PEOPLE. Upwards of twelve persons connected in one way or another with Watergate, boarded United Air Lines Flight 553 on the afternoon of December 8, 1972. They had something in common. That week there had been a gas pipeline lobbyists meeting as part of the American Bar Association meeting in Washngton, D.C. It was conducted by Roger Moreau. His secretary was Nancy Parker. Among those attending were Ralph Blodgett and James W. Krueger, both attorneys for the Northern Natural Gas Co., of Omaha, Nebraska. Associated with them were Lon Bayer, attorney for Kansas-Nebraska Natural Gas Co.; Wilbur Erickson, president, Federal Land Bank in Omaha. This was a belligerant group determined to blow the lid off the Watergate case. Reason: Former U.S. Attorney General, John Mitchell, and his friends running the Justice Department were putting the spear into Northern Natural Gas. Some officials of that firm and its subsidiaries were indicted on federal criminal charges, September 7, 1972, in Omaha, Chicago, and Hammond,

Pink Floyd, who endured one of the most acrimonious splits in rock history, have torn down the wall keeping them apart to make musical history once again in Hyde Park. The Live 8 concert on July 2 will complete a remarkable circle for this ground- breaking group. In June 1968, the days of hippiedom and flower power, they headlined the first free Hyde Park concert, with Tyrannosaurus Rex, Roy Harper and Jethro Tull sharing the bill. The late DJ John Peel described it as the nicest concert I've ever been to. They went on to record albums which sold in huge numbers but were later branded rock dinosaurs. And they became, as a foursome, extinct. But now - hailed for their influence by today's generation of stars - they are resurrecting themselves to back Bob Geldof and the Live 8 cause. In the 22 years since bassist and songwriter Roger Waters left the band he has waged a bitter power struggle with guitarist Dave Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason. The war has raged in the courts and in an angry war of words. Yet behind-the-scenes negotiations have led to a truce to delight their legions of fans. Gilmour says: Any squabbles Roger and I have had in the past are so petty in this context, it's got to be worthwhile. Waters adds: The cynics will scoff, screw 'em. While the two men have battled over the band's legacy for two decades, Floyd's music and influence has continued to grow. There was a brief period during the punk era when Pink Floyd were considered the ultimate outdated progressive rock band. Johnny Rotten wore a Floyd T-shirt with the words I hate scrawled over it when he joined the Sex Pistols in 1975. However, there was no mass rebellion against Floyd. Indeed, the punk upsurge barely touched their unassailable commercial status. With the dance explosion of 90s, bands such as The Orb and The Shamen acknowledged their debt and today some of the biggest British bands such as Coldplay and Radiohead bear their hallmarks. The Floyd pioneered the rock stadium show with lasers, sound effects and elaborate stage sets. They caused a civil aviation incident when the giant inflatable pig they had tethered to Battersea power station for an album photo shoot broke loose. The 35 million-selling Dark Side of the Moon, their masterpiece, became one of biggest albums in history - without a hit single. They are the envy of many rockers, revealing an ability to reflect serious concerns in songs that are both epic and tuneful. And they still remain internationally successful. It is a tribute to the power of the Pink Floyd that the band survived the loss of not one but two leaders. Drug casualty Syd Barrett left in the early 70s. The others ensured adequate financial arrangements for his upkeep and Barrett still lives a reclusive but troubled life in Cambridge. It is safe to say he will not be playing at Live 8. With Syd gone, Waters quickly assumed the lead creative role but by 1980, when the group were performing The Wall (later to be turned into movie starring Geldof), the bitterness had caught hold. Each member had their own backstage trailer and hosted their own after-show parties. The album that followed, The Final Cut, a Falklands war protest partly inspired by the death of Waters' father in the Second World War, was practically a solo album - with the others barred from the studio. After that Waters left the group and three years later tried but failed in a bid to prevent Mason and Gilmour using the name Pink Floyd. The upshot was that band's brand survived to stand strong right into the 21st century. Although Waters' solo career continued, with an all-star cast performing The Wall to a cast of 200,000 at the Berlin Wall in 1980, his contempt for his former colleagues seemed absolute. He said that without him Gilmour had to bring in an army of songwriters and even then had to go back and re-record Momentary Lapse of Reason, their first album without him. Waters was equally enraged by the book Inside Out, Mason's personal history of the Floyd. Gilmour's decision to bring in his wife Polly Samson as the lyricist for the group's last album, The Division Bell, angered him further. It's so Spinal Tap. I listened to it
[cia-drugs] 'X Committee' Out To Blow Up Southwest Asia
http://www.larouchepub.com/other/2005/3224x_committee.html 'X Committee' Out To Blow Up Southwest Asia by Jeffrey Steinberg A number of well-informed sources in Israel, the U.S.A., and the Arab world have warned this news service of growing evidence that a "silent preparation for war" is now under way in Washington and Tel Aviv, which could blow up Southwest Asia in the immediate weeks ahead. Among the leading elements of the picture assembled from discussions with these sources, between June 7-9, are these: *Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, according to an Israeli source, is intent on instigating a crisis with Lebanon and Syria. On June 8, Israeli fighter jets and reconnaissance planes spent two hours conducting flights over Lebanese territory, as far north as Batroun, north of Beirut, and into the Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border, drawing anti-aircraft fire. The Israeli incursions came just days after Hezbollah candidates scored dramatic election victories in southern Lebanon. In a May 29 interview with Lally Weymouth of the Washington Post, Saad Hariri, the son of the slain former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, and a leading candidate to be named Prime Minister after the ongoing Lebanese parliamentary elections, declared that he would seek to bring the Shi'ite party Hezbollah into any coalition government he formed. Hariri told Weymouth that he would oppose any immediate disarmament of the Hezbollah militias, because they are the key force preventing an Israeli seizure of the disputed Sheba Farms border area. He warned that if Hezbollah were to be disarmed, and the Sheba Farms conflict continued, it could lead to a full-scale war between Israel and Lebanon. Bush Quacks Like a Lame Duck The Israeli source emphasized that Prime Minister Sharon is increasingly concerned that U.S. President George Bush is becoming a lame duck, and is coming under pressure to pull American troops out of Iraq, as casualties mount and the situation on the ground becomes more chaotic. Sharon is convinced that the conditions must be set for decisive military actions against both Syria and Iran, before an American military withdrawal from Iraq. *The same Israeli source claimed that, in recent days, after the reported Syrian test-firing of new Scud missiles, some Sharon aides had pressed for a direct military attack on Damascus, but French and German pressure on Israel forestalled that for the time being. *At the same time that Israeli provocations have escalated against Syria and Lebanon, some members of Sharon's war cabinet have been pressing for Israeli "breakaway ally" strikes against some nuclear targets inside Iran. The recent Iranian testing of a new medium-range missile using solid fuel was propagandistically seized upon by some Israeli hawks as a "red line," a development which accelerates the need to knock out, or seriously degrade, Iran's purported nuclear weapons program. David Ivry, the former Israeli Ambassador in Washington, and the architect of the 1981 Israeli Air Force bombing of the Osirak nuclear reactor near Baghdad, told Reuters on May 30 that he favored Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear sites. "You cannot eliminate an idea, a national will. But you can delay progress on a nuclear program with the appropriate military action. That is a valuable objective in itself," Ivry admitted. The United States and Israel have different assessments of the Iranian nuclear program. Some Israeli military analysts claim Iran is just months away from obtaining all the technology needed to build a nuclear weapon, and Ivry told Reuters that Israel must act when "the threat has become insufferable. You set a deadline beyond which you believe you will lose the option of acting." U.S. intelligence agencies reject the Israeli claim of an imminent Iranian nuclear arms breakout, making the assessment that Iran is several years away from obtaining the capacity to build and deliver a nuclear bomb. And factions in the Bush Administration are pressing for a diplomatic solution to the Iran issue. The uniformed military is dead set against any kind of American military action against Iran, arguing that the 150,000 American troops presently in Iraq would be, in effect, hostages to a potential Iranian or other Shi'ite retaliation. And the Bush Administration recently dropped its opposition to Iran's joining the World Trade Organization, and to building the pipeline through Pakistan to
