 20, 2006 --  Yesterday, this editor was present at the launch of a new web site, thedemocraticstrategist.org. The three main Democrats who launched the new web site were pollster Stan Greenberg; Ruy Teixeira of the Center for American Progress; and Bill Galston of the Brookings Institution and a founder of the Third Way movement discussed in a previous WMR article.Also present for the launch were such Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) luminaries as Will Marshall of the pro-Iraq war Progressive Policy Institute and Donna Brazile, who serves on the advisory board of the neo-con Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. Among those who contributed to the first edition of the on-line magazine, Democratic Strategist, was Bob Borosage of the Campaign for America's Future (and co-host of last week's "limousine liberal" Take Back America conference where Hillary Clinton was booed despite efforts to control the audience) and Jerome Armstrong of the Daily Kos world.
