Checked into GIT the Debian 12 build change verified by Andrew. At the same time, I renamed Debian-testing and Ubuntu-testing to just Debian and Ubuntu since these latest versions have been around since at least 06/2022. Then the current/older Debian and Ubuntu operating systems were renamed to Debian-older and Ubuntu-older. Am working on updating the manual accordingly. Thank you Andrew! Looks like you are making progress. Some concern here about deletion of "python2-minimal python2" in the diff file only because I vaguely remember some confusion about python 3 vs 2, but that was some time ago.
