A follow up on my earlier email.
I would appreciate if you could share your real life experience running cat6800
on sup6T.
Is the code stable enough? Any peculiar quirks to the hardware? Any experience
out there running quad sup VSS?
Thanks again,Eli

The Cat 6807 is, from the admin perspective, a very simple iteration on the
6500. If your admins understand sup 2T in the 6500, they'll understand it
in the 6800.
It just drops support for old line cards and only takes AC power.

We have 20+ 6807 w/ SUP-2Ts and have been running them for 3.5 years. The
code has gotten progressively better, admittingly though, it was garbage
the first year.
Just our experience.

Hi everybody,
Need your opinion on choosing a switch for an upgrade. I got a bunch of cat4507
sup7-e running right now thatneed to be replaced very soon. I can’tseem to
pick the right platform to replace it with. Cisco is being as confusing as
always.
My requirements
Trying to google this but can not find actual data. Does anyone know if
restarting process cfgmgr-rp is a service impacting operation? For example
if I find the process to be utilizing more memory than it should I would
like to restart it.
