Hi Anthony,
I have installed I took CUCM trace and used Translator X, when I scroll down
to the bottom, under DTMF Method Originator details i see: (3) Out of Band and
RFC2833.
Under Destination details i see:(1) Out of Band (KPML / NOTIFY)
This is on a call that did not work when being
Matthew,
Just got your log file. I don't see the good example to compare but here's
what happens in the bad example:
The Digit Analysis response shows that there are still off-net potential
matches that exist:
80256949.000 |10:38:02.774 |SdlSig |DaRes
|info_da
Ok so it looks like I was mistaken. TranslatorX is not showing what was
negotiated, rather what was advertised. However, in this case, your H323
side does have both OOB and IB and your SIP side has OOB. That should mean
no MTP.
What do you see for a good call? I wonder if it will be RFC2833 for
I don't think DNA shows you potential matches in that way though.
For example: take patterns 1XXX AND 12XX. If I DNA for 1250 I should hit
12XX and DNA should show 1XXX as alternate match. However that does not
cause T302. If I also had a pattern 1250X then I would hit T302 but DNA
will not show
Everything I understand is that is still the case. It’s one of the reasons we
still have to run Lync internally.

The Jabber-config.xml or the Service Profile?
I've heard different feedback from various TAC engineers.

Jason,
I found it here:
- Users must be on active calls to use video desktop sharing
capabilities. You can only initiate video desktop sharing sessions from
active calls.

Last time I setup IMP for 9.1 the xml file didn't appear to have any
effect and Jabber was pulling everything from the Service Profile. I even
got TAC engaged and he agreed it didn't appear to be doing anything at
least for the info we were trying to map. So that may be accurate.

Don't know about 10, but in 9.x it was all dependant on where you pointed the
client.
cuplogin - xml
cisco-uds - service profile

Or just turn on the Digit Analysis Complexity service parameter (where on
means the obviously-worded value that will help you), make your call, turn it
back to default, then collect traces.
