[cisco-voip] NumberOfRegisteredPhonesDropped @ midnight

2019-07-19 Thread Scott Voll
Anyone else seeing drops of phones at midnight? we are running 12.5 code
and Extension Mobility. Looks like from phone logs we go from sub to pub
and back to sub. Was kind of wondering if it was some new setting in 12.5
since that was a recent upgrade since this started happening.

TIA

Re: [cisco-voip] room kits - smartnet or not?

2019-07-19 Thread Scott Voll
We are smartneting all our kits / kit plus's / sx80's. we have about 50 in
all. Smartnet cost are really high... but we have had a couple RMA's
this first year. our SE said the other option is SWSS for the software
without hardware maintenance. but the cost is only slightly lower.

YMMV

[cisco-voip] CCX 11.5 on esx6.5

2019-07-19 Thread David Stanaway
This is not supported on the HCL and note says to upgrade to 11.6 before going
to esxi 6.5, but does anyone know why?
Is the just a QA qualification reason, or vm tools integration with the host is
going to crash and burn if 11.5 breaths cpu cycles on. 6.5 host?
