[cisco-voip] DRF Local service stopping abruptly - 9.1.2.11900-12

2014-08-08 Thread Erick Bergquist
This is happening on both Call Manager and Unity Connection
9.1.2.11900-12 occasionally.

Here are DRF Local logs from a primary unity server where the DRF
local service stopped when no backup job was running. This is on the
primary (publisher) unity server so it is querying itself.

[cisco-voip] CUC 10.5 MWI

2014-08-08 Thread Heim, Dennis
I have a new CUC 10.5 install. Using +E.164 extensions. I can leave a message
and retrieve it through the phone. However, for any users it still says MWI
status is Off.

This would seem to be pretty simple, but not having any luck with it.

Re: [cisco-voip] Message when call forward all to vociemail

2014-08-08 Thread Chris Ward (chrward)
This looks like a CUCM call routing issue. I doubt CUC logs or queries will
help.

The DN 5000, can you run a route plan report and see where it shows up? In a
Call Forward scenario including CFA, you can specify a different CSS than a
normal would use so it's possible that call flow is different for a CFA vs a
normal call even when dialing the same number.

I am trying to track down if this is an actual loop or not. I have gone through
all the voicemail ports and the configuration as well as Unity and cannot see
where the issue lies.
The call goes to voicemail fine and there seem to be no issues.

Would there be a SQL command I could run to help me find anything this is
related to the extension ?

Cheers

Ok,

So MWI is not working. Do you have E.164 extensions on the devices and in CUC?
And just to clarify, the actual DN is an E.164 and not a shortened variant with
an external mask and label?

The inbound CSS on the Unity Connection SIP trunk can reach the phones?

And this one gets me sometimes; on the CUC SIP Trunk Security profile, did you
allow Unsolicited SIP Notify messages?

[cisco-voip] TVS Signed Certificates

2014-08-08 Thread Heim, Dennis
If you used signed certificates by your enterprise CA for TVS, would that allow
TVS to validate across multiple clusters if both clusters TVS certificates were
signed by the same CA?

I am trying to determine if there would ever be an advantage to doing a
non-self signed certificate on the TVS.
