Thanks Abhiram,
I think that was the confusing part.
We had seen it as advertised for 10.6
I was surprised when I activated Finesse on 10.6 and still saw the warning.
Cheers,
Tim

Hi all,
The support for mixed-mode is expected to be announced in the coming ways. It
will be starting with 10.6 and the support can be claimed by installing a COP
file. The details will come out soon, but in summary it will be in 10.6. Also,
there will be a white-paper released regarding the
No CUIC is included and is just the replacement for HRC.
The included version is essentially the same as HRC but web based. There is a
premium option with more features available. That is, as expected, at a cost.

That's great. We'll have to investigate the premium option. The HRC reports
have been lacking from what I understand .
Cheers.

In UCCX 9x the 32-bit Desktop Administrator app is gone from Plug Ins.
This means Reason Codes should now be configured from the top right drop down
for Desktop Administrator ?
Figure 5 page 28 does not match the Web GUI. It shows the old 32-bit
application.

Hi,
Just to be clear, the CUIC that comes with UCCX is the standard CUIC license.
You can’t upgrade the co-resident version of CUIC.
You can buy premium CUIC (or use the NFR kit) and install CUIC standalone on a
separate box in order to create custom report definitions (something you can’t
do
Does that mean Finesse is the way to go?
Yes. And CUIC is the way to go for reporting. In fact, if you have not
yet deployed a UCCX 10.5, then you may not know HRC already went away.

Hi Lelio,
The supported method is to integrate your standalone CUIC premium with the UCCX
datasource for the purposes of building your report definitions. Then, you must
export / import into UCCX and run them by logging in to the coresident UCCX
instance.
Thank you,

Just a FYI…10.6 will be your CAD to Finesse migration platform. It is the only
supported co-resident version available for CAD Finesse to be activated at
the same time.

Thanks Ryan.
Do you have to do the export/import process? Does CUIC premium not support
integrating with UCCX?

I see a CalSetupMode option under H.323 with an option for Direct. Ours is
running in Gatekeeper mode but we have an SX20 with Direct dialing and it’s
basically the same code.

Both can be activated but it is a requirement that a team be on CAD or Finesse.
Essentially giving a 'Team' based migration approach from CAD to Finesse.

I would really be interested on how the migration is planned. While finesse
is great, a lot of CAD customers are using integrations using keystroke
macros or the local TCP socket option.
I hope Cisco is cooking up something to get at least some of this
functionality on Finesse out of the box.
Thanks for everyone's help on this, especially the Cisco folk who are going
back to check for docs and publishing dates, etc.
I'm glad I posted this and started the conversation.
