So it looks like it was ordered correctly however the PVDM chip is the same chip that goes in the NIM. So cisco put it on the MB instead of how it was ordered on the NIM. I believe I should be able to just move it from the MB to the NIM. On Mar 10, 2016 5:19 PM, "Jose Colon II" wrote: > Thanks gu

Thanks guys. I think the thing that is getting me is that it was bought without the PVDM on the NIM. Have to go back and adjust hardware. On Mar 10, 2016 5:17 PM, "Ryan Huff" wrote: > Jose, > > > You'll be doing essentially the same thing as the G2s; IOS-XE just changes > up the syntax a bit. Hav

Jose, You'll be doing essentially the same thing as the G2s; IOS-XE just changes up the syntax a bit. Have a look at: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/NIM/software/configuration/guide/ConfT1E1NIM.html, that should get you started (pay particular attention to the c

I am setting up a 4331 for voice for the first time and was hoping to find one of you with a working config. Looks like there are some differences from the 2900 services and more specifically around the DSP's. I have a Cisco ONE licensed 4331 with a T1 card and a 2 port FXO card. Thanks in advance

INCREMENT SW_FEATURE just lists the major CUCM version for the cluster. INCREMENT CCM_NODE sets how many nodes you can have in the cluster. License should only have the License MAC of the CUCM publisher. On Thu, Mar 10, 2016 at 2:51 PM, Adam Piasecki wrote: > I hate cisco licensing, venting do

You didn't say what product you're talking about, so I'm going assume you're talking about CUCM. My CUCM 8.6 cluster only has one, for the publisher's MAC address. So I think you only need one. Interestingly my license file is actually for "8.0" not for 8.6. Hmm. Licensing for 8.6 is the absol

Nick, It's actually pretty common, when doing upgrades, that minimum RAM requirements go up, and you have to increase the allocated RAM and reservation. Example: CUCM 10x 2,500 OVA requires 4GB RAM

Are there any negative issues that arise from increasing the RAM on a CUCM 10.0 or CUC 10.5 VM? I haven't ever seen anyone talk about it. I assume that is because there is typically an underlying issue that should be resolved rather than just increasing RAM. Does anyone have any input on this?
