I have seen on more than one occasion that Jabber guest needs you to download a
client or extension or something or another.
Is this the intention? I expected that Jabber guest was to be a clientless
solution so someone outside of the organization could call you quickly without
dealing with
Lelio,
There is a plugin required for Jabber Guest to function. It is NOT WebRTC based
and therefore requires these plugins. The plugins are fast and easy and don't
even require a browser restart, so they should not be overly difficult to
install.
If you are looking for a plugin free client.
Would this affect phones not registering?

Thanks Chris - Are there plans for JabberGuest to become WebRTC based ?
I'm not up to speed on the Acano "guest" feature - but one of the reasons
JabberGuest was cool was the zero cost to license it. Granted, compute
resources are necessary, but most of the time those already exist.
