Re: [cisco-voip] Webex -- CUWL

2016-09-30 Thread Anthony Holloway
Telepresence in CWMS is just as fun a discussion as multi-line in Jabber.
Let's not open that door.

There are a number of differences, but the biggest one that comes to mind
is HD video. It only supports HQ video, which in my opinion, is softening
the blow, instead they should just say Standard Definition video.

*"This product utilizes high quality video, so the video sharing experience
is crisp and clear."*

So does the on prem webex do the same as the cloud based? can I use my SX
devices to conference in? This might be a good option for us if it did.

Hi all,
no more cloud webex in CUWL at all. CUWL Pro is going EoS pretty soon. CUWL
Meetings (which succeeds it) includes Cisco Meeting Server (Acano) and CWMS
but no cloud webex

It's the Cloud Jabber option that you can use instead of on-prem
IM

For basic WebEx, I believe it's still included in CUWL Pro licensing if you
renew that. Might be worth a call to WebEx to see if they didn't know
about your renewal.
