Our ideal candidate is proficient and comfortable designing, programming and supporting in a .NET (2.0 and up) environment, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and has an ability to adapt, change course, and regroup easily. Our customized in-house applications often interface with changing external and third-party technologies to which we are required to adapt, so the ability to learn quickly and turn around fast solutions is a must. Responsibilities would be addressing a need to refactor legacy in-house .NET 2.0 web applications and enhance their functionality for our current business needs. Additional responsibilities would include assisting with support of these in-house applications. Proficiency with SSRS report development is also a plus. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in positions requiring direct interpretation of requirements, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and support. Strong problem solving skills are a requirement. The position will report directly to the IT director, and will work closely with our Manager of Application Development to assist in technical design and development.
