** ***Role: Lead Business - Rules Analyst* Location: Charlotte, NC & Iselin, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Visa Status: GC/USC *Domain Knowledge* - Financial Services Required: · 12+ years of IT work experience in applications programming / analysis. · Excellent working knowledge of systems / applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements / technical solutions. · Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. · Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff. · Expert in Rule/Decision Analysis for rule based projects (ILOG, Blaze, Drools) · Proficient in leading project-based teams of analysts and/or rule developers · Proven experience in designing applications that respond to business needs · Desired experience with strong pension and annuity product / business domain knowledge, including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax Annuities, and Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b.Trust Services, Educational Savings (529) Domain · Collaborate with Integration, QA and Release management teams Release support *Nice to Have:* · Experience with Agile methodologies a plus · Experience with Decision Modeling a plus · Experience with IBM Jazz Platform (RRC, RTC) a plus · Lead team to successful project delivery · Drive rule discovery and analysis phases · Facilitate sessions with SME/IT *Other Comments for Vendors: * · Assist business in identifying existing BR · Make recommendations for BR changes based on business knowledge · Formalize the business terms (and phrases) used in business rules; this formalization may be in a logical data model, fact model, business object model or some other format that standardizes the terms used and their definitions. · Create and manage abstract layer of the data model · Act as a liaison between business, IT and project teams 1. Identify and organize business rules. 2. Define groups (rulesets) to classify the rules for optimal understanding and easy searching. 3. Ensure reusability of rules across the enterprise. 4. Ensure that the rules use consistent terminology and are readable. 5. Promote awareness about the advantages of a business rules approach. 6.
