Position : .Net Developer Location : Lombard, IL Duration : 6 Weeks (Possible Extension) *Local Candidates only for a short term project in Lombard, IL. 6 week project with possible extension. * There are two open positions, one will be working on financial reporting so they need someone familiar in the finance area specifically working with accruals. Second one is helping define groupings for their clients so someone who has experience in security and permissions with “drop down” menus. DESCRIPTION: One of our premier utility clients in the western suburbs is seeking a .NET Developer. The candidate selected will be involved in the design, development, testing, and deployment of internal as well as customer-facing business solutions. Desired Experience and Knowledge: •Five years or more .NET software development experience with mission critical business systems. •Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable systems a plus. •Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, including use case-based requirements development, using UML throughout the requirements and design phases, as well as architectural and coding design patterns, •Expert understanding of Microsoft .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, WPF, MVC4, WCF, Web Services, ADO.NET, XML/XSLT, JavaScript/AJAX/DHTML. Workflow experience a strong plus. •Strong relational database design and development skills using Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Expert in the development of complex queries and procedures. PL/SQL preferred, but not required. Willingness to master PL/SQL required. •Experienced in software development best practices, including coding standards, automated builds, and unit testing. Able and willing to perform code reviews. •Familiar with Agile development methodologies and associated artifacts Affinity for generating technical documentation •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
