Job Title : Business Analyst/QA Analyst Location : Johnston, RI Duration : 6 + Months At least 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or a combined Business Analyst/QA Analyst role in a high performance and dynamic team environment. Prior experience of database validation is desired. Prior working knowledge in Insurance policy admin Other responsibilities include: • Create, modify, and execute test cases and automated test scripts for new application functionality • Develop accurate estimates of time and effort required to test complex business systems, including Database, component, integration, system, security and control, user interface, conversion and regression testing. • Develop SQL scripts to validate user entered data stored in database. • Develop the necessary work plans to accomplish the required testing in a complex, multi-platform systems environment. • Submit, track and validate defects in a “Bug” Tracking system • Analyze and identify application errors to provide in depth details for defect issuance • Work with development and BA team members to identify and isolate issues • Ensure that projects adhere to methodology and standard practices • Support business team resources who contribute to acceptance testing activities. • Assure quality products are delivered to our customers Skills • Team player with excellent analytical, debugging and problem solving skills • Excellent in relational database concepts and should be able to create and modify complex SQL Script (s) • Self-starter, able to work independently, organize work • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to write technical and process documentation • Comfortable working with technology and technical resources • Skilled using Microsoft Excel, familiarity with editing XML files Thanks, Arjun D -Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
