We are currently working on filling an exciting new *CONTRACT* opportunity for an *Senior Business Systems Analyst *position that will be based out in *St Paul, MN or Plymouth, MN*. *Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst* *Location: St Paul, MN or Plymouth, MN* *Duration: 6+ Months* *LOCALS ONLY!!! F2F INTERVIEW IS MUST* Qualified Candidates - Must have the following... 1. Prior Experience analyzing, documenting, and tracking project requirements, and writing a wide variety of documents, such as, business requirements, functional specifications, presentations, and training. 2. Prior experience analyzing and mapping data and managing projects end-to-end, which include working with business and technical teams to define, plan, develop, test, and implement enhancements. 3. Working with quality applications and processes and prior SQL experience are both a plus, but not required 4. Prior project experience supporting data migration efforts is a plus *Additional Qualifications* – Excellent communication and customer service skills. *Job Summary:* The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is directly involved in basic system administration and support, conducting analysis, creating technical/functional specs, configuration, testing and implementation of new and existing systems in the Quality space. This role will provide expertise that is critical in assisting with the identification of opportunities for the effective use of technology and the implementation of IT solutions. *Job Duties: * · Analyzing, documenting, and tracking project requirements. · Writing a wide variety of documents, such as, business requirements, functional specifications, presentations, and training. · Communicating effectively with business partners · Working with systems and business partners to analyze and resolve customer issues within critical timeframes. · Analyzing and mapping data. · Managing projects end-to-end, which include working with business and technical teams to define, plan, develop, test, and implement enhancements. · Building strong relationships and teams. · Supporting CatsWeb (nice to have but not a show stopper). · Working with quality applications and processes (nice to have but not a show stopper) · Working on SQL (basic to medium experience is ok) *General Qualifications* · Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent years’ experience. · 5 years of experience in a senior technical role with application configuration experience. · 5 years of experience translating business requirements into technical designs i.e. Systems Analyst experience. · Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations. · Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts. · Ability to drive requirements and project work through to closure. · Experience in formal design review. · Experience in reviewing technical designs, and facilitation or participating in code reviews - providing feedback on whether the technical design and code satisfies functional specifications. · Training and experience in good test design; experience writing test cases and reviewing/approving the execution of those test cases. · Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. · Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. · Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
