*Position: Sharepoint Developer * *Location : Des Moines, IA * *Duration: 12+ Months * *Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description* · The Client requires a SharePoint Developer to redesign several elements of its Web Portal, and to carry out other *ad hoc* tasks as may be assigned. · The required skills include the ability to develop a Proof-of-Concept in SharePoint 2013, present it to the Project Team, and, if approved, implement the Proof-of-Concept for use. The SharePoint Developer will have a week to design and mock-up the Proof-of-Concept for the initial project. · If approved, the SharePoint Developer will work with the Project Team to define the implementation plan and timing. · Key skills include experience in adding Web Parts to Master Pages and updating site navigation in SharePoint 2013. Additional skills include independently designing and mocking-up solutions, presenting them, and implementing them with Team support. *PROJECTS* *1) Master Page Redesign* Re-design the Master Page of the portal to add Web Parts which may display data or dynamically rotate through portal highlights. *2) Portal Navigation * Update existing portal navigation to use more out-of-the-box features and functionality. *3) Ad Hoc * Additional research and Proof-of-Concept projects may be assigned by the Client. *TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS* *REQUIRED/ DESIRED* * MIN.
