You can also reach me at 248-473-0720*191,Drop the suitable profiles on *r...@hclglobal.com <r...@hclglobal.com>* Title: NetApp FAS Series Storage consultant Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months + Primary Responsibilities • Draws on data storage management experience and skills with NetApp FAS, Clustered DataONTAP, SnapMirror, EMC Symmetrix, VNX Arrays, FAST-VP, Thin-Provisioning, Perl and Shell, support and maintain all data storage and related components within JCPenney’s Data Centers • Install and maintain all storage related hardware and software • Convert project specifications and storage procedures into automation (coding) using Perl and Shell computer languages • Perform project analysis, design, development, testing and implementations • Provide technology architecture support for storage platforms in multiple remote locations • Develop and revise our global storage technology roadmap and establish reference architecture standards in support of production and development environments • Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with business objectives, business process, development frameworks, service levels, and design intent • Assure technology consistency across all projects and solutions. Deliver advanced technology solutions focused around the entire life-cycle of data in a high growth, highly technical environment • Provide level 3 (advanced) technical system expertise, oversight, and accountability for resolution of outages, service level issues, and user/customer support needs in coordination with the Operations Support Center / Service Desk • Ensure technical documentation is kept up to date (architecture/integration diagrams and documentation) Core Competencies & Accomplishments • Minimum Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science • Alternate Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Engineering or Electronics Engineering or related field of study and 8 years experience in related field • Minimum of 8 years of experience in related field • Experience with NetApp FAS 8000 and 3000 series arrays, including 7-Mode and Clustered Data ONTAP, including hands-on knowledge of Aggregates, Volumes, Shares, Q-trees, SnapMirror, and Data Reduction • NetApp Storage Certifications on Clustered Data ONTAP, or equivalent hands-on experience • EMC Symmetrix, VNX, CLARiiON Arrays, including hands-on knowledge of FAST-VP and Thin-Provisioning • EMC Storage Certifications on Symmetrix, or equivalent hands-on experience • Hands-on experience with storage performance sizing and tuning • VMWare Certified Professional certification, or equivalent hands-on experience • Experience in Computer Scripting languages – Perl and Shell • Storage related operating systems experience, specifically Windows and Linux knowledge of storage presentation and performance troubleshooting • Cisco or Brocade certifications around SAN (storage area networking) or equivalent experience • Extensive VMware, Windows and Linux experience *Thanks and Regards . . . . * *Sudhakar*, Technical Recruiter, HCL Global Systems, Inc 24543 Indoplex Circle, Suite 220, Farminton.
