*Job Title* Front End Developer *Project Location* San Francisco, CA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:- Telephonic + Face To Face* * Position Description* - Client wants to connect front end to data via web services & APIs. This role is both UI and an ability to capture and manipulate data - This position will be responsible for building both external and internal facing web applications and supporting production web applications for the IT Enterprise Applications Group, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS experience required. - Skills in multiple web technologies are desired such as C#, .NET and ASP. A solid understanding of web development, object oriented programming, MVC framework and the software development process are also critical. - This individual will also assist with day-to-day maintenance and support/QA of several web-based systems. Additionally, experience with SQL Server and JIRA is also helpful. *Responsibilities:* - Responsible for overseeing and participating in Front-End Development for web applications utilizing JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS. - Proven experience with understanding of technical requirements analysis, business process modeling. - Oversee test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. - Support production web-based applications - Provide written and verbal status reports to IT management and be able to effectively set expectations with users. - Be able to multitask several competing requests by gathering or estimating task priorities. - Stay abreast of related technology and recommend future system enhancements, software purchases or system upgrades. - Ensure a high quality standard following common SDLC methodology. *Requirements* - Degree in the field of computer science or information management systems, or 5 years related work experience. - Experience with web services, databases and SQL - Ability to read, debug scripts, PHP/ASP/HTML/XML - Proven experience with technical requirements analysis, business process modeling. - Knowledge of MVC design patterns and frameworks; ability to reverse engineer an existing application and identify design patterns being used. - Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. - Highly self-motivated and directed. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. - Strong customer service orientation. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Experience working with corporate/enterprise applications is a plus, especially Accounting, Budgeting, HR and Marketing - Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
