*Location*: Boston, MA.
*Duration*: 6 month.
*Interview* *Type*: Phone/Skype interview.
As a Mobile Software Developer in Test, you will design and implement
advanced, automated test suites to exercise our cutting-edge native mobile
apps. You will be writing and executing automated functional and
performance tests to set up test conditions and validate test results in
areas including, mobile document data stores, replication, performance,
scalability, and reliability. You'll work with Objective-C, Java, C++,
Python, JavaScript, and a number of other programming and scripting
languages.
*Responsibilities*:
- Develop and execute test plans by reviewing requirements and design
specifications.
- Write and run test suites for automated and manual execution,
debugging automated tests and running manual tests as necessary to debug
tests and investigate results.
- Report and verify the fixes of product defects.
- Produce status reports and test results.
*Requirements*:
- Coding experience in Objective-C, Java, PHP or C/C++.
- Scripting experience with Javascript, Groovy or Python.
- Experience using Selenium WD for web automation and Cucumber for
automated mobile testing.
- Experience doing both Front End and Back End automated testing.
- Knowledge of HTML, JSon and CSS
- The ability to create automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience with client-serve API testing
- Experience with environment configurations and debugging tools
- Experience testing services implemented using node.js a plus
- 3+ years working experience in the software industry.
- Strong desire for a career path in quality engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of test planning, test case creation and test case
execution.
- Highly-skilled in finding, detecting, and filing software bugs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills,
and fanatical attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding
team player.
- Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with
ability to learn new technologies and become productive extremely fast;
strive for challenges with a do-what-ever-it-takes mentality.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
*Nice to have:*
Experience testing on iOS or Android and REST APIs.
Experience working on large scale distributed systems or
relational/NoSQL databases.
