*Position: CR-18: Infrastructure Analyst (Cloud Experience)*
*Location: Bethesda, MD*
*Duration: 6 months*
*Interview Type: Phone + F2F*
The Cloud Solutions Analyst is responsible for implementation and
management of the software components of platform as a service (PaaS)
solutions. These may leverage third party hosted technologies such as
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Microsoft, etc. Alternatively, they may
be delivered internally using custom built or proprietary solutions such as
IBM’s PureApplication system.
MUST HAVE:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equal experience
- 3+ years of experience in *delivering infrastructure*
- A demonstrable mastery of *cloud computing concepts* and the ability
to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a fast-pace
development environment
- Experience with or Exposure to several of the following:
- Amazon S3
- Force.com
- EC2
- RDS
- Route 53
- Auto Scaling
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with service management concepts (ITIL)
- Solid data center operations expertise
- Ability to develop new approaches to complex infrastructure design
problems
- Strong ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
