This is Sharon (Senior Executive Recruiter) from Sonoma Consulting, We are looking for a Senior Data Architect with Oracle ODI experience in Boston ,MA for 6+months contract, Please go through the below Job and let me know if you have any consultant *Role: Senior Data Architect with Oracle ODI experience* *Duration: **6 Months+* *Location: **Boston, MA* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Strategy & Planning* 1. Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders 2. Assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data across the organization 3. Oversight of design implementation, providing assurance that key requirements are preserved and those gaps are understood and communicated to stakeholders as appropriate. 4. Ensures design governance across projects, applications and infrastructure. 5. Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and an overall data management roadmap 6. Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata; take steps to assure metadata accuracy and validity 7. Establish methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvement 8. Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks 9. Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance 10. Ensure the success of enterprise-level application rollouts (e.g., P20 data warehouse, Common Core standards, PARCC etc.) from the data architecture, standards, and quality perspective *Operational Management* 1. Develop and promote data management methodologies and standards 2 .Select and implement the appropriate methodologies, standards, tools, software, applications, and systems to support data technology goals 3. Oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality 4. Collaborate with project managers and business unit leaders for all projects involving enterprise data 5. Address data-related problems in regards to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration 6. Act as a leader and advocate of data management, including coaching, training, and career development to staff 7. Develop and implement key components as needed to create testing criteria in order to guarantee the fidelity and performance of data architecture 8. Document the data architecture and environment in order to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture 9.Identify and develop opportunities for data reuse, migration, or retirement 10. Analyze and mine business data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points 11. Develop integration process data flows and data mapping analyses *Education and Experience Level* 1. Sensitivity to interpersonal, organizational and political challenges, and an understanding of how to navigate them effectively. 2. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration 3. 7or more years of data or information architecture experience, preferably in a education environment 4. 5 years of work experience with data architecting, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis 5. Direct experience in implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support 6. Strong understanding of relational, dimensional and object-oriented data structures, theories, principles, and practices 7. Strong familiarity with master data and metadata management and associated processes 8. Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping, tools, data profiling tools, and data and information system life cycle methodologies 9. Experience with Oracle ODI, Oracle Profiling and data quality 10. Understanding of Education Data Interoperability standards 11. Excellent client/user interaction skills to determine requirements and the ability to present ideas to various audiences in user-friendly language 12. Proven project management experience 13. Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (FERPA) 14. Technical leadership and mentoring skills. 15. Experience with dimensional modeling and architecture experience implementing proper data structures for analytical reporting from an enterprise data warehouse. 16.
