*Sr. Automation Engineer *

Description:
You will be involved at all appropriate levels of the development process.
You'll turn functional requirements into test cases, help identify what
systems can be potentially impacted by a release, generate test plans,
augment/modify pre-existing test cases and plans as well as execute those
test plans and provide detailed feedback to the team in the form of bug
reports.


*Technology: Python, Java, Jersey/JAX-RS, JUnit, Jenkins, Git, Tomcat,
Linux.*
Requirements:
•       Experience writing integration and validation tests
•       Experience creating QA strategies (How can we pull off testing in
production?)
•       Experience creating test cases that include both happy path and all
manner of edge cases
•       Expertise with Git/GitHub required. Experience using GitFlow
desirable. Familiarity with incorporating work with CI tools such as
Jenkins required. Knowledge of Maven, TestNG, Junit desirable.
•       Usage of Jira (or other similar issue/bug tracking systems) is
required. Familiarity integrating with JIRA via APIs desirable
•       Expertise with No SQL databases such as Cassandra is desirable
•       Basic knowledge of APIs including calling  REST end points using
JSON and XML Data is required. Expertise with tools such as Charles,
Fiddler, POSTMAN desirable
•       Basic linux experience
•       Strong Java (or a similar OO language) coding experience, ideally
2+ yrs
•       Knowledge of web services (extra points for being up to speed on
modern micro-services)
•       You should have a strong desire to automate as much as humanly
possible
•       Strong problem solving ability
