Business Changes Assessment

Engage SSO as Business Assessor for all SIAs.

Business Area Representative

(Often the requestor for an application change)

•         Responsible for providing requirements.

•         Engage SSO to Discuss and Review Requirements

•       Represents the Business.

•       Responsible for assessing the readiness of a change following
testing.

•       Conducts UAT testing

•       Responsible for validating a change is working as expected in
production.

*IT Teams*

•         Engage SSO on Technical projects for which there’s no Business
Area Involvement. (L3 projects, break-fixes…)

•         Engage SSO on Technical projects for which there’s no Business
Area Involvement. (L3 projects, break-fixes…)

*SSO Governance Team*

•       Review requirements.

•       Ensures testing, and testing results are documented and reviewed.

•       Accountable for the data movement controls

•       Accountable for understanding the critical usage and data quality
requirements by consuming business processes and systems.

•       Provide post-production validation.

•       Engage project teams when they have an impact to SSO SIAs.

*SSO Ops Team*

•         Engage SSO Governance Team when there are production issues that
impact data or data movement reports.

Responsibilities include:

•         Experience in articulating business requirements and documenting
with the ability to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform post
production validation of solution implemented.

•         Perform all levels of data analysis, leveraging current data
sources including databases, data and process models, business requirements
and other artifacts Independently determines and develops approach to
solutions, working under limited direction.

•         Experience gathering, analyzing, evaluating data issues/requests
and articulating business requirements and documenting with the ability to
conduct User Acceptance. Testing (UAT) and perform post production
validation of solution implemented.

•         Act as liaison between business area and technical team to ensure
all parties have complete understanding of issues/requests, requirements
and process steps to ensure alignment and successful outcome.

•         Provide timely review, validation and submission of CDEs to Data
Governance.

•         Responsible for maintaining process documentation and other
relevant records as needed.

•         Monitor and support a shared team mailbox.

•         Provide on-call support as needed

*Qualifications*

•         10+  years of experience

•         College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree
preferred

•         Previous experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems

•         Experience with DB2, Sybase and Oracle database

•         Working experience with SQL, SAS, and XML

•         Proficiency with Remedy, Clearcase / Clearquest, and MS Office

•         Previous customer relations experience with business and
technical teams

•         Experience working as business analyst/data analyst

*Preferred Skills*

•         Experience in the Mortgage industry, and information needs are
mandatory

•         Experience with Software Development Life Cycle is a plus

•         Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes

•         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

•         Ability to work independently or as part of a team

•         Familiarity with data management practices and data architecture
is needed

•         Operational support

•         Strong written and verbal communication skills
