*QA Tester* *Location: Miami, FL (client only wants candidates that live in Florida* *Duration: 6 months with the chance to go perm* *Work status: EAD, Green Card, Citizens Only * *F2f required * KEY SKILLS: Ability to create Test Plan and Test Cases • Ability to perform System, Functional, Integration, and Regression tests • Ability to perform white and black box testing • Prior work experience with Mercury/HP tools including Quality Center/Test Director and QTP • Ability to automate test scripts using QTP Position Description: The Quality Assurance person will be responsible for testing and validating all changes made to business applications. The changes include production support fixes, minor enhancements as well as larger strategic initiatives. They will also interact with both business users and members of the development team. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience • At least 3 plus years’ experience with testing for .net, Web - cloud based applications • 3 plus years’ experience providing Quality Assurance support for business applications • 3 plus years’ experience working directly with business – end users Additional Requirements: • Ability to create Test Plan and Test Cases • Ability to perform System, Functional, Integration, and Regression tests • Ability to perform white and black box testing • Prior work experience with Mercury/HP tools including Quality Center/Test Director and QTP • Ability to automate test scripts using QTP • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Able to work in team environment and interact with other technical resources to solve issues as a group. • Ability to perform manual testing • Advanced PC skills and troubleshooting • Ability to work on own – self starter • Must have initiative to gather knowledge to perform job responsibilities • Able to create and run SQL queries • AS/400 experience a plus • Salesforce.com experience a plus • Customer facing – user experience testing a plus Responsibilities: • Work with business users to validate related requirements • Work with business and development teams to understand details of solution being implemented. • Make sure all documented requirements are working as described. • Attend meetings with business users and development team to discuss and finalize changes. • Perform automated as well as manual testing of needed functionality. • Develop and execute detailed test plans. • Coordinate UAT activities • Maintain clear and accurate time reporting (Clarity) information related to Q/A work Thanks & Regards, Ashok Kumar IDC Technologies Inc. *Ph:* 408 868 5124 *Email:* ashok.ku...@idctechnologies.com *GTalk:* ashokkumar.staffing *Yahoo:* ashokkumar_recruiter NOTE: This mail has been sent through Google Groups.
