This is a new role in Saint Paul, MN.  Phone hire is fine.  Seeking a
Senior level resource.. candidates must have 10+ years of practical work
experience.  COM skills must also be excellent!  Term is 3+ months.  Will

Key Requirements:
#1 – Experience with Cisco Contact Center to include; 10+ years of
experience administrating and installing IP Telephony systems specifically
Cisco Unified Communications.
#2 - 10+ years of experience working with Cisco network devices,
specifically as it applies to quality of service (QoS) and voice gateway
configurations.

Position Summary: The UC Contact Center Engineer is responsible for
architecting/implementing voice and Contact Center solutions for the
enterprise. The Contact Center role will have senior Cisco contact center
engineering technical expertise as well as the UC technology stacks. This
person will provide global technical leadership of the Unified
Communications Call Center space and be responsible for the continued
development of technical skill.

Job Duties:
• Architects/implements solutions and strategy for the implementation of
voice, video and conferencing hardware and software solutions. Oversees
development and implementation activities of project teams and design
engineers.
• Provide technical forecasting and financial impacts to executive
management for new concepts and technology solutions.
• Defines technical oversight of life-cycle management actives in the UC
technology space
• Plan’s and forecast’s technology replacement life-cycles in conjunction
with business initiatives and vendor release cycles.
• Creates concept level design diagrams, financial outlays and position
papers for voice, video and conferencing systems
• Manages and coordinates delivery of enterprise vendor services
• Demonstrate master level skill on in place and emerging technologies in
the Unified Communications space
• Mentors and assist in development of UC engineering personnel
• Works on difficult and complex system problems and partners with vendors
to see through to resolution.
• Partners with business to advise on technical solutions and forecasted
capability used to resolve business problems
• Collaborates with other principal engineers and technical leadership to
develop cross platform enterprise solutions
• Provides secondary 24x7 on-call support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Technical:
• BS degree in computer science, engineering or telecommunications and/or
10+ years of equivalent network and telephony experience
• Must have significant experience with Cisco Contact Center experience
• 12+ years of information technology experience including at least 6 years
or more of direct customer support
• 10+ years of direct hands on experience administrating and installing IP
Telephony systems specifically Cisco Unified Communications
• 10+ years of direct hands on experience working with Cisco network
devices, specifically as it applies to quality of service (QoS) and voice
gateway configurations
• CCNP-Collab required and the desire to challenge the CCIE-Collab
certification
• Demonstrated mastery of TDM and IP telephony concepts,
networking/distributed computing environment concepts; knowledge of and
experience with principles of routing, client/server programming, and the
design of consistent network-wide telephony system layouts.

General:
• Demonstrated oral and written interpersonal, communication, analytical,
presentation, and organizational skills; the ability to meet deadlines/work
independently.
• Must be adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and
meeting assigned deadlines
• Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet
implementation timelines
• Ability to sponsor large and mid-sized technology implementations
