*Job Title* OBIEE Developer *Project Location* Horsham, PA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI :- Phone Hire* *USC/GC/EAD Only* *Client : UHG* WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? - Gather requirements, design, develop, test, maintain, and support complex data extracts, transforming and loading per business rules. - Actively participate in design and analysis sessions with functional groups and Business Analysts to ensure flawless design. - Works under the guidance of data architects or others to analyze and understand the source and target data systems to be able to map from one to the other. - Develops complex, innovative, intuitive dashboards, and scorecards using the Oracle Business Intelligence suite (OBIEE). - Designs and develops reporting metadata layer to support reporting initiatives and ad-hoc requests within established guidelines. - Works with the DBA group, analyses and resolves root causes of slow running extracts, queries, dashboards or reports. - Develops reports to support ad-hoc requests from users and management outside of scheduled work. - Using Data Warehouse design best practices and principles, convert owners/stakeholders business requirements into reusable objects from disparate data sources (mostly the Data Warehouse, legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc.). - Actively participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) to enhance the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, including detailed design, configuration, documentation, testing, and deployments. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR? - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience to include a minimum of five years experience in the design and development of Business Intelligence systems, both reporting and ETL. - Experience with data analysis, modeling, and design specific to a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence environment. - Experience in developing reporting and metadata standards, such as names and descriptions. - Experience facilitating data model development, documentation, writing custom scripts and or code following best practices, and as needed. - Experience facilitating stakeholders in defining and designing actionable metrics to manage their business and defining business dimensional models to support their dashboard/reporting needs. - Understanding of Oracle Databases, Data Warehousing and other Oracle products. - Good understanding of overall Data Warehouse design principles and best practices. - Experience with OBIEE 11g - Hands-on strong development experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools, preferably Informatica.
