Role : Cognos Developer Location : Montvale, NJ Duration : 18-48 months Interview : Face to Face Job Description : Ø We are looking for a Cognos Developer with significant experience in development using all of the Cognos version 8.4.1 and 10 tools. Ø It is extremely important that this developer have excellent communication skills, as interaction with end users and other IT colleagues will be frequent. Ø This individual must have strong technical skills. Ø This developer should have experience working with SQL in a DB2 for z/OS environment and should have significant experiencedeveloping Framework Manager Models, Packages, reports using Query Studio; complex reports using Report Studio and Analysis Studio and complex cubes using Cognos Transformer. Ø He/She should be very familiar with and able to perform Cognos administration tasks when needed. Ø He/She will take part in a conversion from Cognos v8.4.1 to v10.2, and must be able to perform the tasks required for this effort. Ø Experience with Cognos 10, Cognos running within the IBM zLinux / Websphere environment or Cognos on a distributed platform would be considered a big plus. Ø This developer must be a self-starter that is able to work in a small team environment, where many different hats may be worn in a day, multiple developers contribute to the goals of the department, and work may be shared among any of these developers.
