This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a cutting edge and innovative start-up environment within a large consultancy *Position Overview:* The .Net development manager will be responsible for leading design, analysis, development, implementation of service oriented applications, and providing support for existing systems. The manager should be able to work independently and lead a team of developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment, and be able to report on projects status to the senior leadership team within the organization. The role is expected to lead/mentor teams of internal professionals and contractors (including offshore contractors), providing formal and informal training and regular hands-on assistance. *Key Responsibilities* Develop and maintain software services using the technology stacks including .NET MVC, frontend frameworks such as AngularJS, enterprise messaging frameworks, and SQL and NoSQL technologies. Contribute to and lead application architecture and design activities. Interact with business analyst/Client(s) to understand business problem(s) being addressed by the project. Collaborate to create test plans and scenarios for development unit testing and functional testing. Mange a team of onshore/offshore internal professionals and contractor resources, providing technical leadership/guidance/mentorship (direction setting and articulating, consensus building, conflict mediation, etc.) Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools. Deploy all integration artifacts to a testing and production environment *Qualifications*: · 9+ years of progressive experience in developing and leading application development. · Strong hands-on experience in .NET, frontend MVC framework, and backend enterprise system integrations. · Deep understanding of design patterns and architectural principles and extensive, real-world experience with distributed and SOA designs · Strong experience with one or more popular DI/IOC implementations · Experience with Agile Scrum development process (Certified Scrum Developer preferred). · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business/Technology or similar degree required. · Solid experience and working knowledge with SQL Server 2012/2014. NoSQL experience desirable. · Experience with Microsoft Excel based reporting from web applications. · Experience in implementing financial, accounting, or tax experience a plus.
