Responsible for working with infrastructure personnel to create scripts for formatting and validating data. Review and analyze system documentation to identify how a system might impact the business application's systems. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in assigned areas to analyze business processes and develop (and document) requirements for data to be pulled from the Reconciliation Database (RDB). Escalate issues as necessary and facilitate resolution. Serve as a link between the business user and members of the technical support team. -The candidate will pull groups, group membership, direct access accounts and associated permissions from all platforms: - Windows, UNIX, UDB, Sybase, Oracle, Mainframe, Lotus Notes, TAM, Etrust, MSSQL The candidate will primarily write scripts for formatting and validation of infrastructure data coming from RDB. Accuracy and efficiency will be the key focus points. Application layer groups -Be able to understand and format the resultant data into a specified report format. -Be able to identify performance issues with existing data pulling scripts and troubleshoot and repair scripts as necessary. -Data will be pulled based on individuals and groups across all platforms. -Analyze the result data for completeness and inconsistencies. If inconsistencies are found the candidate will be required to identify and correct the issue. The candidate will be required to explain results in both technical and layman’s terms. Strong oral and written communications Able to work independently. UNIX and Active Directory experience are required. Database experience (Sybase, Oracle or UDB) required.
