*Role: **Project Manager V - IT Sourcing* *Duration: **12+Months Contract* *Location: **Hartford, Connecticut* *Phone + Face to Face interview* Minimum Requirements: The Project Manager for the IT Sourcing Office will be responsible for developing and tracking the Sourcing Office budget and saves as well as assisting in the development of project plans for the workstreams. He/she will conduct project meetings to review and track status, identify issues and risks, escalate problems and track financials. The PM will also prepare weekly status reports and assist in the creation of PowerPoint decks for reporting to management. The PM will also schedule and attend the weekly Sourcing Finance Team meeting, preparing the agenda, facilitating the meeting, tracking the financials with the Finance Team and documenting and distributing the minutes. The Project Manager will be responsible for alerting management when a delay will cause impact to the financial goals. The PM is responsible for running financial models and doing “what if” projections. The Project Manager may be called upon to work with different workstreams in the Sourcing Office and conduct Project Management functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Contributes to the IT Sourcing program plan working collaboratively with the other IT Sourcing leads to develop and track their workstream detail project plans. • Develops and tracks the Sourcing Program financials for the Sourcing Office. • Collaborates with the Finance team on tracking the details on the Sourcing saves. • Track the workstream detail project plans and escalate immediately when a change will affect the Sourcing Program financial goals. • Collaborate with the workstream leads and the Program Manager to find solutions to issues and delays that arise. • Provide weekly status reports on the workstreams. • Assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations to management on the health of the program. ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures IT managers are informed about the MSP initiative and their targets. • Track and report on the planned resource disposition for each wave of the transition plan. • Collaborate with HR and Finance to track the dollars associated with each of the resource eliminations. • Execute financial models and perform “what if” projections • Support the IT transformation to fully realize the benefits possible from IT sourcing. • Promote continuous improvement and efficiency upgrades in all workstreams • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures. • Remains current in profession and industry trends.
