Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

• Experience  in analyzing and tuning JVMs and garbage collectors
• Proven troubleshooting and platform analysis abilities
• Proven ability to tune application platforms such as (WAS, Tomcat, JBoss,
WMB, WODM, WMQ, Data Power, and/or other systems)
• Proven ability to evaluate technical designs and java code to identify
performance issues
• 5+ years of experience in open systems application development
environment
• 5+ years of experience in JAVA-based application development environment
• 5+ years of experience in J2EE technologies (Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JMS,
Java Security)
• 1-2 years of experience with XML and related technologies (XSL/T, XML
Schema).
• 3+ years of experience with SOA Frameworks
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
• Excellent understanding of architectural design patterns
• Excellent understanding of enterprise architectures
• Understanding of networking connectivity is essential, including TCP/IP
• Understanding of enterprise systems (i.e., databases, legacy systems,
etc.)
• 3+ years LINUX/UNIX experience.
• 1-2 years travel industry experience beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Effective written and communication skills
