Position : Linux / VMWare Admin

Location : Washington DC

Duration : Long Term



*Face-to-Face is a must.*



*VMWare/Linux Admin:*

   - Experience with VMware vSphere 5 or above - virtualization, servers
   setup and use of HA/DRS/SVMotion.
   - Experience building, deploying and troubleshooting RHEL version v6 and
   above Servers.
   - Have direct interactions with client counterparts on project matters
   within area of responsibility. Must work well with general guidance,
   provide competent technical input to technical writing team for system
   documentation, be detailed and security oriented.
   - Prior practical experience supporting highly available web systems.
   - Experience working with Symantec Netbackup 7.1 or above.
   - Various UNIX/Linux Open Source Software Support Experience (Apache,
   SAMBA, Tomcat, GNU Tools, and etc.)
   - Shell scripting skills in bash and Ksh
   - Building and deploying Oracle Database Servers.
   - Ability to troubleshoot and identifying performance bottlenecks and
   make recommendations to improve performance.
   - Working experience with Redhat Satellite Server.
   - Strong troubleshooting skills and persistence in resolving issues in
   mission critical environments; interacting not just with the internal teams
   but also external customers and vendors.
   - Should be able to Identify repeat incidents that lead to underlying
   problems.
   - Proactively taking ownership of project tasks and issues.
   - Handle multiple tasks and be flexible in a fast paced environment and
   ability to meet deadlines
   - Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks in a highly
   dynamic environment
