*Position 1 : Business Systems Analyst* *Location: SFO, CA* Long Term *ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Working closely with the Trading, Operations and other business teams, the Business Systems Analyst will assist with development and maintenance of business applications – Portfolio Management System, Trading, Reconciliation, EDM and Reporting Systems. This role will work on mission critical projects to identify, analyze and map business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions and processes to satisfy the growing business needs. *Specific Responsibilities include: * • Provide support for existing business applications – Advent Geneva Portfolio Management System, Charles River Trading System, Markit EDM, Reporting deliverables, Cash Reconciliation system (OpenStaARS), Factset, Bloomberg and other internal and external interfaces. • Responsible for production and development efforts supporting Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative on business applications related to security master, market data, settlements, reconciliation and performance measurement. • Work with cross-functional teams developing business and systems requirements, user interface design, data modeling, systems designs and interface specifications. • Develop new workflows or enhance existing workflows to meet business requirements. • Assist in system testing and upgrade. • Plan and perform disaster recovery testing. • Coordinate software implementations and upgrades with software vendors and outside consultants. • Document results of data analysis in a comprehensive yet clear and concise manner and write databases queries to provide data extracts and reports *QUALIFICATIONS: * • BS is required (preferred, not required) with relevant coursework in CSE and/or finance • 3-5 years of experience in the asset management business providing and supporting business solutions ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Position 2 : Business Systems Analyst* *Location: SFO, CA* Long Term *ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Working closely with the Trading, Operations, and other business teams, the Business Systems Analyst will assist with administering the order management system, Charles River, from the front end user interface to the back end configuration. In addition, this role will provide functional & technical support for business applications, work with business users on mission critical projects to identify, analyze and translate needs into technical specifications. *Specific Responsibilities include: * • Support all interfaces that interact with Charles River, such as Bloomberg, Omgeo post trade applications, Advent Geneva, and Markit EDM • Administer FIX connections • Maintain documentation of any custom configuration applied in the system • Be the subject matter expert on the trading life cycle for equities, bonds, currencies, and derivatives • Perform disaster recovery testing as necessary • Assist in system functionality testing and upgrades • Be able to work closely with end users to proactively address data and reporting request. • Under limited supervision, work with cross-functional teams translating business requirement into system interface specifications, logical and physical data modeling, create documentation for the request, and work on prototypes. • Assist with developing new workflows or modifying existing workflows to meet business requirements. • Write SQL database queries to troubleshoot system and data issues *QUALIFICATIONS: * • Bachelors degree in business, computer science and/or related field required.
