Role:- VMWare Technical/Solution Architect Duration:-12+ Months Location:- Greenville, SC (USA) *Need GC / Citizens only* *Job Title* VMWare Technical/Solution Architect *Relevant Experience* (in Yrs) 8-10 Yrs. *Technical/Functional Skills* Must have hands-on experience working with VMware · Independent problem solving and a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Technical/Solution Architect experience in VMware is must. · Maintain and backup corporate VMware server datacenter. · Experience in installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting a wide variety of Cisco and other networking equipment. · Experience in administering VPNs and Firewalls. Also Security Hardening of Cisco and Windows environments. · Experience in administering virtualization environments such as VMware VSphere ESX (P2V migrations), Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp farms. · Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining Active Directory on Windows Server, Terminal Services and Exchange Server (e.g., configuration, administration, documentation, etc.) · Experience in System Administration, System Builds, Server builds, Installs, Upgrades, Patches, Migration, Troubleshooting, Security, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Performance Monitoring and Fine-tuning. · Expert in wintel shell scripting, Perl, Javascript and Dynamic HTML. · Capable of developing own Monitoring (Inventory/Network detect) software that borrows features from many different monitoring applications and brings them into single platform. *Experience Required *(in Yrs) 6-8 Yrs. *Roles & Responsibilities* · Solution Architect · Design recommendations. · Equipment change/upgrade · Implementing new features · Applying scheduled updates · Install, support and maintain routers & switches. · Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure *Generic Managerial Skills* · Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects · Strong oral and written communication skills · Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment · Eagerness to mentor junior team members · Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools. Proven writing skills for mass communication.
