The candidate will develop reports, dashboards, SQL queries and verify the output meets expectations. The candidate will be a dynamic problem solver, with demonstrated understanding of BI application development against relational data structures. The applicant must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, and have the ability to effectively articulate business and technical concepts. Desired Skills: • Experience with SQL based relational database structure and design, preferably MS SQL Server. • Excellent skill level in SQL. • Expertise in Microsoft BI/SSRS. • Proficiency in dashboard and scorecard design and development. • Experience with Visual Basic, C#, Java, etc. programming languages. • Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc). • Education and Experience • Bachelors in Computer/Info Science & Support or related field required. • At least 1 year of reporting and analytics experience developing BI applications such as dashboards, interactive/drilldown reports, and scorecards. • Experience gathering business requirements, with the ability to effectively articulate business and technical concepts. • Strong professional communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal) necessary to express ideas to others appropriately. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback. • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver a high capacity of output in a fast-paced environment.
