*Duties and Responsibilities:*
Candidate must have experience in middleware maintenance including
upgrades and patching. Preform, supervise and coordinate the testing,
maintenance, installation, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and
*administration
of Middleware such as WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache, BladeLogic, Cold Fusion,
WebOrb, Essbase, IIS, VERITAS, .NET, JBoss and SAP BusinessObjects systems
and applications. Develops architecture, standards*, and procedures for
implementation and support of the Middleware systems and considers their
integration with the balance of the IT infrastructure and support teams.
Act as a liaison between internal user communities. Collaborates with
application support staff to design and provision services, and
troubleshoot problems. Work to ensure user satisfaction by coordinating
installation, configuration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and
quick resolution of problems of the most complex nature. Resolve highly
complex availability, capacity, and performance issues. Lead efforts in
periodic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.
Provides after-hours and weekend support as needed.
