Position Overview (Job Summary)
The Infrastructure team designs, builds, and maintains the software,
hardware, network, and computing technologies that power all of the
client’s services. We are the foundation upon which the Client’s

insightful healthcare data solutions that will change the future. You seek

Job Description
• Find, correlate, prevent, and own complex problems from incident
to resolution, implementing emergency fixes to keep the business moving
while driving root cause analysis to ensure problems do not resurface;
• Develop and execute solutions to problems backed by thorough
testing and engineering analysis;
• Develop, gather, and leverage metrics to prevent and uncover
problems in the server fleet before they emerge;
• Leverage tools and technologies to optimize systems by squeezing
out every clock cycle, IOP, and bit.
• Investigate, design, and implement best-in-industry, innovative
technologies that will expand the Client’s infrastructure through robust,
scalable solutions
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical field, or
equivalent experience;
• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows Server, related
computing platforms.
• Strong experience with Active Directory administration,
structure, permissions, and best practices
• Hands-on experience using SCCM is a big plus
• Experience with patch management using tools like WSUS, Systems
Center, and/or NetProtect;
• Knowledge of existing industry standards, technologies, and
operational norms;
• Possess a strong sense of ownership and urgency; the capacity to
ensure a problem is not dropped, forgotten, or ignored;
• Scripting experience is a plus; willing to learn Powershell.
• Experience with Windows Security best practices is very beneficial
• Good troubleshooter – you know every problem has a solution; you
are unrelenting, persistent, and confident that you will find that solution;
• Manage situations with calm, courtesy, and confidence;
• Ability to support shift work.
Job Requirements
Experience in the discovery and remediation of security vulnerabilities
using manual and automated processes and procedures in both Windows and
Linux environments;
Working knowledge of scanning tools Rapid7, Nessus and Red Hat
Satellite;
Systems Administration experience with practical working knowledge of
both Windows and Linux environments;
Experience in documenting and revising remediation processes and
procedures;
Construct and employ scripts or other tools to install or assist with
the administration of the server environment;
Take responsibility for production system configuration from
requirements to release, including detailed design, analysis, testing, and
optimization;
Investigate, design, and implement best-in-industry, innovative
technologies that will expand the clients infrastructure through robust and
scalable solutions;
Develop and execute designs for complex systems backed by excellence,
confidence, and thorough engineering analysis; and
Develop, gather, and leverage metrics to manage the application
performance and complex computing systems to drive automation, improvement,
and performance.
Enterprise level application support and configuration;
Experience in managing tasks to ensure product or service delivery to
meet established schedules and timelines;
Strong oral and written communication skills; and
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with
competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, or greater, in related discipline required;
6 -10 years’ demonstrated progressive skill development in Systems
Administration capacities;
3 - 4 years’ experience with vulnerability remediation methods and
technologies;
Server administration skills, ability to troubleshoot and remediate
issues in IIS, Java, Windows and Linux environments;
Expert troubleshooter – demonstrated ability to persistently pursue a
problem through resolution;
Extensive experience with troubleshooting Microsoft technologies
required;
Extensive scripting experience not required, but strongly desired.
Knowledge of existing industry standards, technologies, and operational
norms;
Manage stressful situations with calm, courtesy, and confidence; and
A penchant for thinking outside the box to solve complex and
interesting problems.
