*Must Have for the Position*
*Ten or more years systems administration in a Linux environment*
*Strong Experience with CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux (version 5.6 or
more)*
*Has familiarity working in a Cloud environment*
*Is capable of troubleshooting server or VM issues and monitoring
applications*
*Can deploy applications and has extensive experience with scripting tools
and technologies*
*Can write automation scripts for a variety of administrative functions*
*Familiarity with at least one monitoring/logging tool (e.g. Splunk, OP5,
Nagios or DynaTrace)*
*Experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl or Bash)*
*Experience with git/svn/cvs and software deployment tools (Capistrano,
Fabric, etc.)*
*Possess strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate
complex problems*
*Ability to work with teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment*
*Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills*

*Nice to have*
*At least 2-3 years of experience with Agile Scrum practices, concepts and
procedures*
*Experience in the Telecommunications Industry or Access Network
technologies*
*Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
required*
*Ability to work independently and works extremely well in an Agile/SCRUM
team setting, *
*Possesses a positive attitude, is detail oriented, and communicates status

*Manage all deployments, setup infrastructure, support testing and
troubleshooting for various components*
*Automate applicable processes and deployments*
*Ability to create and maintain policies, standards and overall system
documentation*
*Display initiative in improving the ecosystem*
*Work closely with developers, testers and other administrators as part of
a larger team*
*Troubleshooting errors with proprietary and open source applications in
production and pre-production environments*
*Working with development teams to further operationalize applications with
a focus on repeatability, redundancy and scalability*
*Monitor the health and status of systems under management*
