*Position: Sr. QA Engineer* *Location: East Greenwichmay, RI (Needs local only)* *Duration: 12 months * *Interview method: In person* *Application/Product:* Custom Integrated Lottery Applications on multiple platforms *Short Description * Job Description Our client, a RI based technology company, is seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to create a Test Strategy and detailed Test Scenarios, analyze Requirements...working with UNIX and various DBs. The initial need is for an application that is considered transactional in nature with POS characteristics residing on a kiosk. Following use cases and systems requirements specifications, the assignment will also entail the development of test plans and test cases and include root cause analysis and debugging. Down the road, while not fully understood at this point, projects are likely to include applications that reside on (and will need to be tested on) a variety of platforms (mobile, tablet, PC, kiosk, terminals (i.e. PowerBall units), and thin clients. This role may also include leading small (local and off-shore) teams so previous (3-5 years) Lead-level experience is necessary.
