Voice Network Engineer ((Local Candidates only)

Term: Long term, at least one year

Location: White Plains, NY

Effective: Immediately

 Summary:  The role acts as a senior point of operations and escalation
support within the Network Engineering Voice team for Unified
Communications technologies.  Provide tier 2 and tier 3 (2nd and 3rd level)
Voice support to a wide range of internal customers / business partners in
the Americas Zone.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Include the following but not
limited to:

 Work with other members of the global NMC team to provide day to day
support for the Cisco IPT global installation.

Where required work with Project groups that require the input and skill of
an IPT engineer.

Support the UCCE (Call Center) installation and assist with the roll out of
additional agents in the Americas Zone. Where required modify VXML
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems.

Carry out troubleshooting of primarily Cisco IPT solutions involving UCCE.

Reviews user and technical documentation written by others to confirm
consistency with program operations.

Provide technical support, responding to inquiries regarding errors,
problems, or questions with network Voice programs.

Qualifications:

Either currently have a valid CCNA Voice certification, or CCNP Voice and
working towards CCNP Voice having recently completed CCNA Voice.

Cisco UCCE

Cisco Unity Connection

Cisco Unified Communication Manager 8.X

H323,MGCP,SIP

Jabber

Configuration of Voice Gateways

 Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract
and concrete variables.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:
