*Position:- Software Test Engineer Location: Clarksburg, MD Duration: Contract (6-18 months)* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Job Description:* We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to work on a long term contract basis for a client of ours in Clarksburg, MD. This position will serve as a key contributor in the product development life-cycle, and will work closely with other teams to identify, validate and report failures and anomalies uncovered during product testing and ensure that all are corrected before product launch. *Required:* · Bachelor's degree · *Minimum 3 years experience testing PC/console/mobile games/consumer products* · *Wireless/Networking/RF experience -- routers, switches* · Automation experience · Good troubleshooting and analytical skills is highly required · Familiar with mobile devices and applications · Experience logging bugs, and writing/following test plans and test cases - Quality Center, JIRA · Detailed working knowledge of test standards and protocols · Strong work ethic with a `can-do` attitude · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications a must · Must be a self-starter and able to work independently *Preferred: Desired Certifications:* · MCSE or CCNA · Experience in networking industry desirable - routers, switches · Cisco certifications · Networking training · Ideal candidates will be able to break down problems into smaller components, understand underlying issues, simplify and process complex issues, and understand the difference between critical details and unimportant facts.
