Hi all.
Is it possible to have ClamAV scan emails for only certain users?
I.e, with MailScanner calling ClamAV it is not possible to limit which users
have their mail scanned.
I want to configure ClamAV (via a milter, or a plugin to procmail like you
can do with spamassassin etc) so that only

And an corresponding ACL (acl_smtp_data):

Check contrib/trashscan in the ClamAV tarball.
Hmm. I have tried that one, but it doesnt seem to work properly.
When it scans, it adds the header: X-Virus-Scan: Scanned by TrashScan v0.08

Ah, I was worried that was it. When I do this on FreeBSD 4.8 with the
latest build from the port's tree it appears to startup properly, stay in
foreground, but doesn't appear to actually function.
That is odd. You might want to check out this howto if you are trying
to supervise clamd

Any reason anyone can think of that ClamAV will not run on HP-UX?
I haven't actually tried compiling it yet, but i'd like to get it running
on HP-UX 10.xx or 11.xx.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Running clamd under the same user as mimedefang works around the
permissions problem and is probably the correct setup anyway in my case.

I'm getting puzzled by clamav-milter - isn't it supposed to be in
/usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter
When I check the contents, I see nothing.
I'm running Solaris 9 with gcc 3.1 and GNU Make 3.80 - clamd, clamscan,
clamdscan and freshclam all compile fine.
I used ./configure
Now, clamd has crashed and won't come back up. Since it isn't
volunteering any error messages on crash, can someone tell me where the
errors are logged?

Hi,
I'm working on setting up virus filtering on my mail server, but seem to be
running into a strange problem. If i check files manually using clamscan or
clamdscan, e.g., clamscan filename, it picks up viruses in the files OK.
However, if i run it through like cat filename|clamscan -, it
