Hi, I`m running Clam AV 0.87 and have noticed some poor performance when scanning large (20Mb+) Power Point presentations. These scans can take upwards of 3 minutes. I had similar issues with 0.86.1 but upgrading has not resolved the problem.
I'm running Clamd with Mimedefang on a 2.4Ghz Xeon 4 processor machine with 3Gb of RAM, running Red Hat 8. Has anyone else experienced issues with .ppt files taking large amounts of time? Chris Hannam _______________________________________________ http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
