I'm currently using a filter that scans incoming mail during the SMTP
session (runs right after CRLF.CRLF, and returns a 5xx if a virus
was found).

The latest/greatest 0.86.2 should install fine on OSX and PowerPC Linux.
Give it a try and let us know if you run into any trouble.
