I have been running clamav 0.80 on solaris with local unix socket since October. Clamd stops accepting requests for me as well, but it's sporadic unlike yours. It usually runs 1 to 3 weeks at a time without a problem. I have a cron check and restart if it's doesn't respond.

Hello all, After that, nothing happens.. I've looked up the clamd log files, but it doesn't mention anything about e-mails getting scanned :( . I don't see any errors either. Does PS say if it's running? Does your version include the stack size fix for BSD? Wouter de Vries -Nigel

Hello, I installed ClamAV-0.54 today, copied the /usr/local/etc/clamav.conf-dist file to /usr/local/etc/clamav.conf, but when I execute clamd, it returns me an error. # clamd ERROR: Please edit the example config file /usr/local/etc/clamav.conf. ERROR: Can't parse the config file
