Mein Server wurde zwangsmigriert Vserver ---> Cloudserver. Ich habe 2 CPUs, 2 GB Ram und 50 GB Disk. Ich zahle auch € 6,90 + MWSt. Den "rescale" Hinweis habe ich auch gelesen, will aber sicher sein, daß das keine Probleme macht. Würde dann auf einen CX31 upgraden. Vielen Dank trotzdem für den Hinweis. Werde am Mo mit Hetzner reden. If your clamav instance is installed to /opt/local, then your freshclam.conf is probably in /opt/local/etc/freshclam.conf Edit the freshclam.conf file and set the "UpdateLogFile" option to a filepath that your user is allowed to write to. I haven't had this particular issue on my Catalina test machine or personal laptop, but I also haven't done very thorough tests to investigate if we need to change default options or add logic to request permissions in macOS Catalina. It's possible that we may need to make some adjustments as Apple continues to try to lockdown directory access in macOS. I manually downloaded the latest version of ClamAV directly from the site so I'm reasonably sure it shouldn't be deprecated, yet I'm getting these errors: etc/cron.daily/freshclam: ERROR: Can't get information about db.# tz zone descriptions (deprecated version). ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-22421.cdiff from db.# tz zone descriptions (deprecated version). I just installed ClamAV-0.91.2 on a Redhat EL 4 server for testing. There were no errors during the install. I then edited the clamd and freshclam configuration files because our system is behind a firewall and I have to use a proxy server. I am having issues trying to update my AV definitions. (running 0.88.7) Whenever I run freshclam I get the following output (the IP listed will vary according to the DNS return) ERROR: Error while reading database from db.us.clamav.net ERROR: Can't download main.cvd from db.us.clamav.net (IP: 209.59.139.38) repeats for Max retries, followed by ERROR: Error while reading database from database.clamav.net ERROR: Can't download main.cvd from database.clamav.net (IP: 63.166.28.8) ERROR: Update failed. Your network may be down or none of the mirrors listed in freshclam.conf is working. I haven't changed my config at all, so I am not sure what has happened (and I get the same results on all 3 of my mail servers so I tend to think something outside my control has changed). I had the devel files; problem was I needed to set env vars for libs, headers. Once I did that it compiled ok. If you installed gmp from source then you probably have the necessary files already. Check for gmp.h in /usr/include/ (maybe /usr/local/include/ maybe somewhere else). You will need to rebuild clam.
