Prashanth,

Project Clearwater supports proxying the Presence messages (SIP SUBSCRIBEs and
SIP NOTIFYs) - see the details in our documentation at
http://clearwater.readthedocs.io/en/stable/SIP_Interface_Specifications.html#presence-event-package-rfc-3856

However, you will need a separate SIP Application Server which provides support
for presence. Clearwater doesn't provide this function out of the box.

I'd expect that configuring Project Clearwater to support such an application
server would simply be a case of providing a set of IFCs to trigger the
application server when a SUBSCRIBE is received for the "presence" event
package.

Thanks,

Richard

Subject: [Project Clearwater] Presence status of user for messaging

Hi,

I'm trying to implement instant messaging service using
Clearwater setup and am able to send & receive messages successfully. Could you
please help me understand how to get presence status of the user on the android
client using the AWS Clearwater setup. Thank you.

Regards,
Prashanth
